Depth of Red by Janelle Rimberia
I bleed my heart of red
ink
In these words, I let
my mind sink
In the depth of red
where emotions are fed
This heavenly hell will
surely be my end
Her red light she
cannot contain
A destructive force, a
raging fire
Burning bridges with
the fires of ire
A fury that burns so
deep inside
In the corridors of her
soul, it takes its seat
Within the blaze, a
wounded core,
A tale of pain that
anger bore
She lashes out in
anger, with no reason why
Like a dance of pain,
leaving scars like relentless rain.
They’ve diminished you
Tried to bury your
rising flames
They will imprison you
in their cage, and smother your flames
In the ink's embrace,
stories unfold piece by piece like an endless cycle of pain.
Beneath their darkness
they will be too blinded to see
That they are only
reigniting her fiery flames
She moves like a
whisper through the night
A dangerous allure, an
engaging sight.
A tempest of secrets, a
forbidden league
Beware of her innate
fire that burns so bright In the distant realms of the sun's array.
Chasing the shadows,
making darkness sway.
Stand strong with your
head held head high these are laws she always abides
The emotional scars
etched deep and wide,
Each telling a tale of
the emotional tide.
Whispers of battles
that none has seen.
The red light her
greatest strength but also her greatest weakness
Hence, I bleed my heart
of red ink
Guide me with your
light
Welcome me with your unwelcoming embrace
